Oh, yeah. Denizens freaked me out when I first got onto the train too. But the cat's at least, you know, a cat. Not the weirdest thing in there.

No, passengers don't come from the train. It's only denizens, like the cat. Or ghoms, which are these... awful huge cockroach dog things that try and attack everything they see. They're mostly found outside the train cars.

You know how a normal train works, right? Not the subway or something like that. [ underground trains are... different. she gestures as she speaks ] To go between cars, there's a railing that leads to the next one. Outside of that is ... we're not sure where the train is running, exactly. It's a wasteland, and the only thing in it are the ghoms. If you don't linger in between cars, you're usually alright.

So I'm guessing people have been lost trying to go between the cars then.

Yeah. Or inside the cars themselves. The denizens aren't always "friendly".

It's not something you really get until you've been on the train, yeah. But this place is kind of close enough? But with people killing each other.
