Hmm. I hadn't been counting those who didn't do or complete tasks. But even groupings for 8 powers would make sense - perhaps powers for everyone were prepared, just not given out. Some of the powers seem clearly sin aligned, while some are just 'make someone blind.'
I am aware of eight powers total, and none of them is the power used on Shi Qingxuan and Aoi. But my count includes Dreamweaver, which could be one of the two powers I don't have a name for. If there's overlap, I may still be missing the power that could have caused that fight.
If 31 is the correct number to count from, it means Steven, Vlad, Primrose, Luca and Gojou can't be accounted for.
Because Primrose and Gojou said they didn't get any at all, right? If that's true, that explains why some groups are way smaller, on top of the deaths.
And some people can exchange powers, right? I overheard something like that in trial. It's possible some of the ones you know were traded, or that someone traded for that fight power thing.

I heard that, too, but my conversation with Wrath about it suggested it wouldn't be a matter of cooking up your own idea for a power. You'd choose from the menu.
