for this crew mineo is waiting in the med bay like an anxious puppy for all of them to finish their healing. hewwo? hewwo??????]

grace luckily does not have to regrow any limbs or eyes or anything and her main enemy was the b l o o d l o s s, so she gets out of the pod before he has time to worry a hole through the floor. she still looks a little dazed and confused when she does, but she visibly relaxes when she sees molly in his own pod.

and then she notices mineo ]

...Mineo.

[ she seems at a loss for words ]

[oh - he's immediately getting up from wherever he was sitting then, reaching both his hands out to her in case she needs help being steadied. his expression doesn't bother to hide his open concern.]

Grace-san—

You okay? I got water if you're still dizzy or anything.

[but he figures that they went through, uh, a lot]

No, I'm-- [ but she wobbles a bit where she stands and blinks ] Maybe?

[ it turns out yes probably losing most of your blood makes you dehydrated, who knows. ]

but Mineo hesistates for two seconds before - ]

[ there's clear hesitation from her, too, before she nods shortly ]

[ for asking and for helping, though she can't help but glance at the other pods before she holds a hand to her head.

also mods told me officially it'd take 6 hours so maybe mineo DID walk a hole in the floor ]

[HE DID WALK A HOLE IN THE FLOOR HE PROBABLY FRETTED A LONG TIME but it's fine. he doesn't seem like he minds that much as he goes to carefully lift her off her feet and bring her over to somewhere that she can sit. then he'll go to grab a water bottle from his little collection and offer it out to her too]

Still hurt anywhere? You were in there a while but - I have some supplies if you still need anything...

[ she takes the bottle gratefully, taking a drink ]

A little sore. [ she tilts her head to look at him and nearly drops the bottle, raising her hand to her head ] And it feels like I'm being hit in the head again, so that's fun.

[ she's gone from hesitant to annoyance in 0.2 seconds ]

[mineo pauses at that before going to his little collection of items and pulling out two painkiller pills. he'll offer them out to her]

[ she takes them, but doesn't swallow them just yet, just. staring at them before smiling at him, a little fond ]

... Thanks. You've got a whole kit ready and everything?

[his expression turns a little softer at that even as he goes to sit next to her]

Yeah - you all make me work overtime! Gotta be prepared, you know? So seriously, if you need anything else, text me. I'll scrounge something up.

[he's not a doctor but he's pretty adept at first aid and his bedside manner's also great]

... we found out you were missing a little early, so it was even more important to be ready.

[ i hope mineo is okay with her leaning on him because. she is doing that. partially tired, partially head bad. ]

[he is okay with that, honestly? she's tired so he'll pause only so he can shrug his jacket off his shoulders and put it around hers. comfy]

My guess is that Takeru sent you a text and then he got a read notification that came way before he even sent the text. That's how I found out he was missing a little early a few weeks ago.

[and everyone promptly lost their minds]

I think he and Harrow-san found out Molly was missing early too...

[ she's like, probably still wearing her bloody clothes but. at least. they're dry now? gross. she will snuggle in this jacket instead. ]

Molly... [ she resists the urge? to look at his pod? ] I'm glad he's okay.

[not to be het but i guess grace will get to keep his jacket since he's not going to ask for it back before curfew]

[mineo looks thoughtful about that - and he glances at the pods as if it'll help them know if it'll end any faster but....]

[ well that makes her laugh, even if it's a little weakly, and she preemptively puts an arm around mineo to brace herself ]

I'm not in the habit of disappointing people, you know?

[but he'll just give her a grin at that, confident and easy. if she wants a distraction, then he has no trouble providing. he'll gently scoop her up in his arms again and start to head out. they're headed for the simulation room!]

[ she wraps both arms around his neck and hangs out. she doesn't necessarily need him to carry her but of course she's enjoying it? ]

but he's walking into the simulation room then, adjusting his hold on grace just so that he can press a hand to the panel. the room shifts around them and they are definitely suddenly atop Tokyo Tower. hell yeah.]
