What was it like, then?

The train? It's fun. All the cars are like their own little worlds, and everything in it was made for us passengers. We can do pretty much whatever we want.

[She can tell there's hesitance to tell the whole story, but she's also nosy, so:]

What happened to her?

... A lot of bad things, at once. [ it's not curt so much as kind of? quiet and sad? hm. ] I just... want to protect her.

She's, um. Being targeted by something really dangerous on the train, basically.
